Follow these instructions to print with expended colour cartridges:
For Windows:While printing, if you see a message indicating that you can temporarily print in black with an expanded colour Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4740DWF ink cartridge, then you can cancel the print task and select settings to print on plain paper or an envelope.
Note: When a colour cartridge is expended, you cannot print faxes, make copies, print from Epson Connect or any mobile device.
- To cancel your print job, choose ‘Cancel Print’.
Note: If the message appears on another computer on a network, you may need to use the product control panel to cancel the print job.
- Load plain paper or an envelope in your machine.
- Access the print settings in your application.
- Click the Main tab and Select Plain Paper/Bright White Paper or Envelope as the paper type setting.
- Choose the Black/Grayscale checkbox.
